Since Meteor Falls had some writings and artifacts left behind by the Draconid tribe, she takes a lot of time in going through the caves and picking up the scraps of paper from the ground. Letters from the alphabet were written on them though from her understanding of the Lexicon that Howard Slayte gave her tor read, it was a complicated language that outsiders didn’t understand. [break][break]

That was something she wanted to study on for her reading. Her elder cousin had most of the things that he covered in his research.[break][break]

The ambassador’s Calyrex, who tags along with her for the exploration into Draconid studying, floats along with her when she picks up an old arrowhead from the rocky terrain of the next cave entrance. Though the King couldn’t possess any human hosts to talk, anything that she talks to the royal Pokemon is met with a “Cro rown!” She had named him, Charles, for a name she wanted to call the High King though the ambassador always defaulted to addressing him as His Majesty, just like how Elise addressed the original Calyrex at the Dyna Tree.

But at the very least, there had been notes left for translating the language. Phrases that would help piece the tales of the sky dragons that watched the equilibrium of the earth.[break][break]

One hand brushes away the dirt, attention flicking from yellowing pages to the carvings upon the wall.[break][break]

Dragon lord, or so they call it. To be seeing these words written on the walls exactly as they are scribbled within this notebook makes her heart swell. Through the passage of time, to end up in the same space her mother had once explored. To see what her mother had once seen, to chase what her mother had once chased.[break][break]

Since Meteor Falls had some writings and artifacts left behind by the Draconid tribe, she takes a lot of time in going through the caves and A voice snaps the ambassador to attention when she turns to the source. The familiar young girl who ended up going to eat breakfast with her at Rustboro City was there too and the woman gives the girl a greeting. “Hello again, It’s nice to see you here.” She notes that the girl had also been studying the writings on the cave walls which were written in the Draconid language. Studying about the language itself could help her elder cousin’s research if Remy was on the Draconic topic.[break][break]

“Were you also studying the Draconid language?” Elise asks with a smile while the Calyrex comes up from behind and studies it with her. Most of the tribe had been a bit reclusive to ask directly for their own experience with the language, so consulting the lexicon that her archaeology mentor gave her was her good bet.

Having been warned of the whole deal about DRK Triad and Rocket targeting her, she's kind of surprised to see a legend walking about so casually. Sure, there are avatars and all that surround her day to day. Hell, even Hideo Kino is harbouring Uxie like she does Mesprit. But there's just that feeling that she can't shake, whatever it may be.[break][break]

A question is directed at the company that the diplomat had during her study of Meteor Falls’ cavern. Though her friend, the Fortree gym leader, had tried hard to hide the existence of Tornadus away from where Rocket couldn’t know of his existence, she probably was worried about the League itself being upset with her if she did the same.[break][break]

“Yes, this is Charles, my Calyrex.” An answer comes from the royal diplomat while the hare king studies the small Draconid writing on a cave wall. “I am not his avatar, no. If I was, I would think that Sheriff Navidson would be very worried about me.”[break][break]

She remembers their talk in the Granite Cave. Navy had talked a little about who the king would choose and when the day of the Dyna Tree’s stories came, he was also terrified if the Calyrex there had given her his powers. Luckily for him, the Calyrex only desires to see her leadership qualities first.[break][break]

Or maybe that was a little prelude to things that would come for her.

In spite of the bestowing of the shard onto her, she still worries about being a target for Rocket. With Remiel having a target on his back, it was less likely that they would be interested in her now since she had failed to be the bait that brings in the prince’s head. The difference between both her and Remy was that her elder cousin was more combat ready.[break][break]

And she was not.[break][break]

“I will be careful, thank you.” She responds to the younger girl while Elise is asked if the diplomat found anything of note in the caves. “Anyhow… I did find a couple of old artifacts and Draconid writing on the cavern’s walls.” She’ll have to ask her elder cousin if he could help translate what it spoke of since she hadn’t a clue of what it spoke about to her.

Royals certainly hold a mysterious air in their own ways. Mysteriousness that can be found in legends, like the Calyrex shard and a certain pixie, who must be off disturbing their sibling for the day. Mysteriousness that is also, somehow shared by Reiner as he appears from his pokeball, takes in their surroundings, then gives her an indecipherable look.[break][break]

Studies on Draconid language and lore had a couple of those pictures considered to be a meme on the internet. Humor had reached even the tribe known to worship the Dragon Lord long ago. Remiel himself took his studies on the Draconids seriously and the ambassador aimed to do the same with its language. [break][break]

The girl asks if Elise had taken any pictures and wanted to know what the writings said. Luckily, the female royal is able to remember what her lexicon said over the different meanings of each word in Draconid. The shard of Calyrex looks at the royal too, almost like he was curious of what Elise had to say.[break][break]

“Yes, I did take pictures, so I’ll show you.”[break][break]

And when she shows the young girl pictures from her smartphone, they’re all of the writings whose pictures were captured from different walls of the cavern.[break][break]

“One of the writings spoke of the Dragon Lord gaining its power from their fervent prayers. Another speaks of their gratitude towards their deity saving them from a meteor strike.”
